During the summer of 2016 we were approached by the Tiree Community Business who were looking to install moorings in Gott Bay on the Isle of Tiree as part of their developing business plan and improvements intended for the island.
NWM were contracted to undertake the Marine Scotland & Crown Estate applications and then install the 10 moorings. After much planning and discussion, approval was finally granted for both applications in the spring of 2017 and then subsequently installed in June by the teams of the Multicat and Headcorn who worked together to get the moorings installed as quickly and efficiently as possible.
The mooring system was created to be able to withstand the exposed conditions often associated with Tiree and are sure to provide visiting tourists and local vessels alike a safe place to moor their boat and visit the Island.
