Laxi
The Laxi is our dedicated mooring vessel that offers our mooring services to our client’s across the west coast.
The Laxi spends the mooring season tending to our clients requests, travelling the west coast dropping the moorings during the autumn to protect them from the winter weather and then again raising them in the spring for the summer sailing season.

Why North West Marine
North West Marine currently undertakes the servicing of 700 moorings in several locations across the west coast of Scotland. We work with associations, marinas and individual clients alike and aim to ensure that all the moorings we service are safe for your vessel.
Our current charges are:
- £50 + Vat per drop
- £208 + Vat and materials for inspection
Our Experience
North West Marine has been undertaken mooring servicing since the early 90’s and have now grown our client base to approximately 800 - 1000 moorings. In the past we have serviced a geographical area from Orkney to Poole, however our key area currently is from the North of Mull to Tayvallich.
